Lost my creative mojo halfway through this, so it's an EP and not a proper album.

You know the drill (you probably don't, odds are good this is the first time you've ever heard of me):

MISE-EN-SCENÈ
This started as the intro to Runaway, which initially sounded totally different. Not wanting to get rid of the nice little piano bit I'd composed, I decided it'd be good as the intro to the album itself.

BASTION
Probably the most light-hearted track of the album. Also the one I have the least to say about it.

SULPHURIC ACID
The first track I made for this album. I went for a very Madness Combat sound, especially the plucks. I originally called this Sabretooth, which was a terrible name.

ASSIMILATION
I actually took inspiration from MYSELF on this track. This originally started off as a remix of "Flash Raid", a track from my MODERNITY album. I ended up turning it into its own song, but you can hear the influence around the build up + main lead. Also I LOVE this song.

THAT NICE MAN WHO FINALLY SNAPPED
More like "The One Song In Every Rebellion Cannon Album That Has A Bizarrely Long Title". 232BPM and insanely mad, this is the one song my girlfriend (who supports me no matter what shit I churn out) can't listen to. She says it's very overwhelming and crazy. Which is good, because that's the point!

RUNAWAY
I nearly deleted the flp file for this song like 3 times. Glad I didn't, because I think it's okay. I was initially going for "epic final battle" vibe, but it wasn't happening. I think Runaway is a good title for this one.
