After a weekend spent recovering from that Friday night, you’re back at work. Monday always comes so quickly. You sit at your desk and work as fast as you possibly can, knowing that the sooner you finish, the sooner you can head up to the tenth floor and use the Level 4 keycard you nicked.
Two hours later, you head up to the tenth floor, while avoiding being spotted along the way. You sneak into the control room and place the keycard into the slot. The screen lights up.
“Result!” you say aloud.
However, the computer then asks you to solve a series of CAPTCHAs. You sigh and get to work. Every time you solve one, you’re greeted with another two.
You finally solve the last CAPTCHA and access the mainframe itself. You find the keycard printing app and make yourself a Level 5 card. You quickly shut the computer down and sneak out.
The journey back to the seventh floor isn’t an easy one. The ninth and eighth floors are a lot busier than when you came up. You can’t use the lift, because there’s a chance someone will be in there and catch you. You can’t sneak too suspiciously, because that might raise the attention of whoever’s watching the cameras. You spend half an hour descending the floors, carefully using blind spots and folders to cover your face.
When you arrive back at your desk, you slump into your chair and plan when and how to enter the sub-basement.
